People often say coming up with a company name is one of the hardest things to do.
I found this to be the opposite. I still remember the day I decided to start my independent design practice, and I was driving to the airport, thinking of names, and Kind Heart was the first name that came to mind. I think it was because growing up, my mom would tell me:
”It doesn’t matter what you do, or who you are. Just have a kind heart.”
Her words have stuck with me over the years. And so Kind Heart became the name. It was memorable, distinct, and aligned well with my ethos. I wanted something that felt deeply human, as reflected in the design work we do.
Since the very beginning of Kind Heart, the goal was to always bring ideas to life through beautiful and functional design, whether it was through memorable brands, websites, or products.
Now fast forward two years. We’ve seen the founders we work with go from signing their first design partnership, to scaling to 7 figure ARR with a growing roster of enterprise customers. We’ve helped pre-traction consumer products grow to millions of users, with clear paths to monetization.
As the companies we’ve worked with have matured, so have we. We’ve grown to 15 people around the globe. We’ve shipped countless websites, products, decks, and more. We’ve solved problems across pretty much every industry.
Old keys don’t open new doors.
