Kind Heart is now Venice

Nov 7, 2025

When I started Kind Heart, the name was a promise to stay human in a world moving away from humanity. It was a reminder that design should feel thoughtful, empathetic, and alive. The work began small — one designer trying to make beautiful things that made people feel something.

A lot has changed since then. Empathy became the baseline, not the brand. The work grew bolder and more deliberate. Kind Heart wasn’t just a one person studio anymore; it became a world-class team shaping brands, products, and companies, bringing rigor and depth that matched the emotion we started with.

The name started to feel too soft for what we’d become. A relic of an earlier chapter. The work was bolder, our standards higher, our vision more ambitious. We needed a name that spoke to where we were heading, not just where we began.

That’s where Venice comes in.

Venice, CA has always been a study in humanity. It’s imperfect, eclectic, endlessly alive: a melting pot of stories, dreams, contradictions. Artists, surfers, engineers, influencers, weirdos, founders. It’s where chaos and craft collide, where something real gets made out of everything that shouldn’t fit together.

Venice reminds us that human doesn’t mean soft. It means complex, soulful, unpredictable. It’s the spontaneity to the algorithmic, the heartbeat to the AI. And that’s the energy that drives our work: we build brands and products that live in that in-between. Creative enough to feel distinctly human, structured enough to scale.

So we evolved.

Kind Heart was the promise.
Venice is the proof that staying human still wins.
